DISCRIMINATING SENSORS
Discriminating sensors are able to detect and send an alarm signal if the presence of liquid is detected inside of a containment space and can also differentiate between liquid and hydrocarbons.
Does your application only require the need detect any type of liquid?
NON-DISCRIMINATING SENSORS
Non-discriminating sensors are able to detect and send an alarm signal if the presence of liquid is detected inside of a containment space.
What type of Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) are you connecting to?
ATG REQUIREMENTS
Depending on the sensor type, either a two-wire sensor module, a three-wire sensor module, or a probe module is used to power and read the sensors. Select the appropriate model number of sensor that's compatible with your ATG using the chart below.
EVOTM 550, EVOTM 5000, EVOTM 600 and EVOTM 6000 may support additional sensors. Sensors with "-U" are used with the EVO™ 600 and EVO™ 6000 to wire to the probe module. FMP-DDS, FMP-TDS, FMP-EIS, FMP-DIS, FMP-HIS and FMP-HIS-XL all require a 3-wire sensor module.
