Monthly inspections, compliance testing, dispenser filter changes, etc. The list of maintenance initiatives marketers must keep track of goes on and on. With the influx of corrosion-related maintenance issues on the rise, how can you add anything more to your plate?
Many marketers are now leveraging the EVO™ Series to fully automate their corrosion mitigation efforts. As more and more marketers retrofit their existing sites with new corrosion-fighting technology, the EVO™ Series takes a leap forward in providing automated system control and facilitating new corrosion monitoring capabilities.
With the introduction of the EVO™ 600 and EVO™ 6000 (the latest generation of EVO™ Series), marketers gain a host of new proactive corrosion prevention capabilities.
This new application, now standard on all EVO™ 600/6000 models, provides control and monitoring of the Corrosion Control™ Water Separator, automating the removal of corrosion-causing water from tank bottoms. It auto runs the Water Separator after any fuel drop (a key entry point for water into a fuel system) and also once-daily during an off-peak time to clear water from any ground/surface intrusion. The Corrosion Control™ App provides access to data and notifications including:
The EVO™ 600/6000 are compatible with the new Corrosion Detection Sensor which provides automated monitoring for corrosion within a tank’s ullage space. This new sensor technology allows marketers to get out ahead of excessive corrosion before it has a chance to run rampant throughout their diesel fuel systems. The Corrosion Detection Sensor provides automated notification of a corrosive tank ullage environment so marketers can detect and react sooner.
Desiccant Packs are used to absorb humidity from the sump environment before it turns into corrosion-causing moisture. The Desiccant Pack Sensor provides remote monitoring of the remaining life of Desiccant Packs and reports back via an EVO™ 600/6000. The sensor measures the weight of the Desiccant Packs and calculates an estimated percent of life remaining for efficient maintenance planning.
Retrofitting an existing site with all this new technology is simplified with the Multiplexing Sensor Hub™ (MSH). The MSH allows marketers to add the Corrosion Control™ Water Separators, Corrosion Detection Sensors, and Desiccant Pack Sensors to sites without having to break concrete to run new conduit and wires. The MSH utilizes a single, existing 4-wire probe or sensor cable to power and connect up to six total devices to an EVO™ 600/6000.
If you have an existing EVO™ 550 or EVO™ 5000 at your site and you are interested in installing any or all of this new Corrosion Control™ System technology, you are in luck. EVO™ Series Upgrade Kits include everything needed to transform an existing EVO™ 550/5000 to an EVO™ 600/6000 including a control module, communication port, Wifi hardware, antenna, and cable.
